Country Noodle Casserole

Out of Our League
1/2 pound bacon, fried and crumbled
1 package fine egg noodles, cooked and drained
3 cups cottage cheese
3 cups sour cream
2 cloves garlic, crushed
2 onions, minced
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
Dash of Tabasco
4 teaspoons salt
3 tablespoons horseradish
1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
Extra sour cream
Combine cottage cheese, sour cream, garlic, onions, Worcestershire, Tabasco, salt, horseradish, and 3/4 cup Parmesan cheese. Add noodles and bacon, and toss. Put in buttered 3-1/2 quart casserole.
Cover and bake at 350° for 30-40 minutes. Remove cover and sprinkle with 1/4 cup of the Parmesan cheese and broil until golden. Serve with rest of cheese and extra sour cream.
Yield: 12 servings
Notes:
Went a little lighter on the horseradish for personal preference
Used a 12-ounce bag of extra broad egg noodles
Reserved a small portion and combined with leftover roasted chicken
